Building fund

ST. GERARD PARISH has undertaken to pave the parking lot. As it is a major
project, diocesan regulations require that we now require 60% of the cost before we borrow. The estimated cost (in 2005 figures) is $275,000 - 300,000. When we have raised $180,000, we can go ahead with the project. Our funds deposited with the diocese are for two purposes at present:

Building Fund = Parking Lot Fund $149,695.93
Amount needed to start project: $180,000
Amount left to raise: $30,304.07

We are so very close! Please use the blue/grey envelopes for weekly contributions for the Parking Lot Fund. We will update the chart at the entrance to the church weekly. Please keep in mind that when you take holidays, you can still contribute if you choose to start with Pre-authorized Donations. Call the parish office to make arrangements 949-0435 or stop in during office hours.

If you would like to make a donation, you can:

• Use the monthly building fund envelopes in your donation envelopes box. New donation envelopes are available at the entrance to the sanctuary, behind the last pew.
• Set up automated bank withdrawals by contacting the parish office.
